But he's often thought how nice it would be to have a little brother to play with too. He is surprised one day when his parents introduce him to Cash, his new baby brother. Cash becomes James's best friend, and together they begin new adventures in subsequent The Adventures Of James And Cash books.
The Magic Pumpkin Patch is book two in the series The Adventures Of James And Cash. Autumn has finally arrived, and James and Cash decide to take a ride in their adventure vehicle to search for two special pumpkins to display on their front porch. They didn't know, however, that a little faerie by the name of Maeve was up in a tree in their front yard listening to them. She decides to follow them as they travel down country roads looking for a pumpkin patch, although they are unaware of it. They stop and ask various animals along the way, but nobody seems to know where to find a pumpkin patch. As darkness sets in, they eventually get lost after they are tricked by a scary-looking scarecrow. But Maeve comes to their rescue. She leads them to a magic pumpkin patch where they find two pumpkins that come to life with the help of a little faerie magic.
Thanksgiving With The Pilgrims is book three in the series The Adventures Of James And Cash. It's almost Thanksgiving, and James and Cash decide to pretend to be time travelers and have a Thanksgiving feast with the Pilgrims and Indians on a picnic table in their backyard. Afterward, however, their faerie friend, Maeve, asks them if they would like to be real time travelers and visit real-life Pilgrims and Indians. Without hesitation, the boys excitedly jump into their adventure vehicle and soon find themselves on a very different kind of adventure. With a little faerie magic, Maeve opens up a time tunnel that takes them back to the year 1620 where they learn all about the Pilgrims and the very first Thanksgiving they spent with the Indians.

A Sleigh Ride For Christmas is book four in the series The Adventures Of James And Cash. It's now December, two days before Christmas, and James and Cash decide to build a snowman after a heavy snowfall. To the boys' surprise, their snowman comes alive with the help of a little faerie magic. While the boys are playing with their snowman, whom they name Ned, their faerie friend, Maeve, looks up into the sky and sees a Christmas package falling from an elf sleigh on its way to the North Pole. As fate would have it, the boys end up helping Santa's elves deliver some Christmas packages to the North Pole in their adventure vehicle. While at the North Pole, the boys meet Santa Claus who tells them about the birth of Jesus and the true story of Christmas. Although Santa gives the boys a sleigh ride for Christmas before taking off from the North Pole to deliver his presents, he visits the boys later that night and puts a special gift under their Christmas tree to remember their visit to the North Pole.
